Enrollment for Fall 2026 opens January 12. The Fall 2026 Enrollment Lottery will take place on March 2, 2026. On the Lottery date, all families who have completed the Intent to Enroll Form will receive notification with either an offer of admission and registration steps or a waitlist position. Animas High School will recruit students in a manner that strives for equitable access to the school and does not discriminate against students of a particular race, color, national origin, religion, language of origin, sexual orientation, or gender, or against students with disabilities.
Fall enrollment opens annually in January and remains open through the end of September. We hold an Enrollment Lottery in early March when the total number of students who wish to enroll is greater than available spots in any grade.
In addition, we often open a small handful of spots in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades for mid-year transfer students. Enrollment for January opens in early October and closes at the end of the first semester. These spots fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
